The Senior Scouts number 7 and the Rovers 5, and for that reason the two units were joined into one — one troop that learns, that feels the spirit of service, and that learns to live by it in its own life.

Over the past year a number of training camps were held, to teach and practise both scouting and life skills:

Winter camp 2026 — under the motto “The Challenge”

This year’s winter camp was held under the motto “The Challenge”, between Wadi Degla and Alexandria, with 5 taking part. We visited Old Cairo and the Coptic Museum and learned their history, then moved on to Alexandria and toured the city to get to know its landmarks.

Summer camp 2026 — under the motto “Under Construction”

The summer camp was held under the motto “Under Construction”, between Ismailia and Port Said, with 9 Scouts and Rovers taking part. We began in Ismailia, where we learned the city’s history and walked its streets, then moved on to Port Said, toured the city, and visited the icon of the Virgin Mary that streams oil all year round.

The “Teach Me” service project

The troop took part in the “Teach Me” project, preparing more than 400 school bags for children most in need in the Minya governorate, and 3 of the Rovers travelled to Minya to hand the bags to the children themselves.

A joint service project with the Lebanese scouts

The troop also took part in another service project, together with a Lebanese scout group from College de la Sainte Famille – Jounieh, where we painted a school playground from end to end.
